Wreaths Across America
REMEMBER the Fallen, HONOR those who Serve, TEACH our children the value of Freedom: this is the mission statement of national non-profit organization, Wreaths Across America (WAA) — and, at Barney McKenna & Olmstead, we are proud to be an official sponsorship group.
From the Revolutionary War to present day conflicts, our veterans are devoted sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers. They come from all backgrounds in life to place those lives on the line for our freedoms with millions of individual stories to tell.
Wreaths Across America coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at more than 1,600 locations across the United States, at sea and abroad to commemorate these soldiers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
WAA & BMO
This past Memorial Day, May 25, 2020, Barney McKenna & Olmstead (BMO) became an official sponsorship group with Wreaths Across America. For each estate plan we complete, BMO is honored to donate one wreath to WAA, placed at the gravesite of a fallen soldier — where their name is spoken — so their memory preserved. This added service comes at no extra cost for clients.
As fate would have it, we are proud to have made our first donation on behalf of 30-year Navy Veteran, Roger Springer (pictured above). On this unplanned occasion, Roger worked with attorney-shareholder, Jeff McKenna, to complete his estate planning, to prepare for the eventualities of life and affairs of his family.
The Need Goes On
In many homes, there is an empty seat for one who is serving or one who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We hope you will join us to show our veterans and their families that we will never forget.
